Old Information:

The laboratories of the Polytechnic School consist of two independent buildings, one main and another for facilities, located in the southeastern area of the UCAM Campus, perfectly connected, separate from the classroom area and surrounded by a pleasant environment.

The layout is resolved by dividing the different work areas, highlighting:

On the ground floor:

• Hydrology and Hydraulics Area.

• Soil Mechanics – Geology – Geotechnics Area.

• Structures Area (Quality Control of Concretes and Steels)

• Materials Chemistry Area

On the upper floor:

• Director's Office.

• Research Areas.

• Road Signage – Traffic Area

• Other Construction Materials Area

• Structural Modeling Area. Computational Mechanics Laboratory (CML), with alternative space for presentation of practices for students.

Adjacent to the outdoor platform of our Laboratories, there is an experimentation area for solar and wind energy, as well as a deep probe for conducting behavioral tests – measuring the performance of geothermal energy.

All of this is part of a package of activities linked to professional practice that brings students closer to their future professional reality.
