The UCAM Drone Hub, located on the campus of the Catholic University San Antonio of Murcia, is a research and training center in drone technologies. Its objective is to enhance learning and research on drones, integrating their use into various academic disciplines.
It boasts modern facilities: research laboratories, outdoor flight testing areas, immersive VR simulators, and an assembly workshop. The drone fleet includes lightweight models for training and high-precision drones for scientific applications, thanks to collaboration with DJI.
This project is a strategic alliance between UCAM and DJI, providing educational materials and specialized training. The Drone Hub is used by all the university's courses and studies, promoting interdisciplinarity.
UCAM is working to obtain a reserved airspace, allowing supervised flight practices in a safe environment, reaffirming its commitment to innovation and technological development.
