Sound Laboratory
Characteristics
The studio has two rooms that are acoustically isolated from one another.
The recording room, equipped with professional microphones and direct lines to the control room, also provides space with instruments for musical recording.
The control room houses the mixing console, multitrack recorders, computers, processing racks, monitoring systems, and all the necessary equipment to manage sound with precision.
The soundproofing has been carefully designed to prevent unwanted noise from entering or leaving, using high-performance absorbing and insulating materials. These materials also allow for the control of key acoustic parameters such as reverberation, sound field diffusion, and the prevention of standing waves, ensuring clean and well-defined recordings.
Benefits for the student
This space will allow you to work in all phases of a sound production: from capturing voices and instruments to mixing and mastering.
You will learn to use professional technology and software, develop a critical ear, and become familiar with the technical standards required by the music, audiovisual, and radio industries.
Degrees that use this room
Primarily the Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Communication and the higher university course in Dubbing of Factuals, as well as other programs and workshops related to music production, voice-over, and sound post-production.
